About Dr. Hanna

Hi, I am Dr. Hanna! A local acupuncturist and herbalist practicing in South Asheville. I have a deep passion for being a healing conduit, getting to the root of the problem, and empowering you along your self-healing journey. I use my intuition through a Daoist and Galactic lens to guide the healing process and strongly believe in the power of holding space to encourage my patients to go deeper than they initially thought possible. My approach encompasses various modalities, including the use of the principles of Daoism, mental and emotional health support, galactic calendar, and breath work. 

I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science with a Preprofessional Concentration and soon found my love for acupuncture. This led me to the Masters and Doctoral degree from Daoist Traditions College of Medical Arts. After working in the student clinic for two years, I have seen over 500 patients. My specialities include emotional and mental health, multi generational trauma, and whatever may be arising within you. Everyday I practice mindfulness while prioritizing my wellness in order to lend a healing hand to you. I strive to facilitate the embodiment of feeling centered and present in ones body, encouraging my patients to breathe while feeling their emotions in a society that does not allow discomfort. My ideal client takes part in their own healing and is open to deep level work while understanding all treatments lead to healing.
